EFFECT OF STORAGE ON STRENGTH OF CEMENT
In spite of the best precautions taken to store cement, it is found that its strength is reduced due to long storage. Efforts should, therefore, be made to store the cement for lesser time. The strength of the cement, which has been stored for a long time, should be checked before it is used on important works. The expected reduction in strength of concrete with stored cement is given below.
